    The dates of 6 and 9 August 1945 are written in the history of humanity and represent one of the saddest pages with the monstrous images of the mushroom-shaped clouds that destroyed the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in an instant, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths. Razed and burnt around 70 per cent of all buildings and caused an estimated 140,000 deaths by the end of 1945, along with increased rates of cancer and chronic disease among the survivors.
